Crested Goshawks

This shot was taken in 1991 when there was still a patch of forest where the current exercise ground next to the Visitor Center covered carpark is located. The pair of Crested Goshawk was nesting in a tall tree next to the patch of forest. The photo is not very good technically because of backlighting and I only had a 500F8 mirror lens and a 2x teleconverter. The tree where the nest was is still there today but the top where the nest was located has been sawn off. Crested Goshawks are very rare now in Singapore and is probably seriously endangered. I doubt it will ever appear at the Botanical Gardens again.
