This is a project that I have started recently. The idea is to show the richness of the bird life at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. All the photos here are taken at the Gardens ground and the surounding areas at the Tyersall Avenue and Gallop Road. The places where I have spotted the birds are public places and do not require special permission to enter.

The bird life at the Gardens is very rich. As such the species shown here is not exhaustive. I hope the pictures here will encourage you to explore the Singapore Botanic Gardens not only for its flora but the birdlife there as well.

Quick update (Jan-04): The Gardens are undergoing extensive renovations. Currently the undisturbed parts of the Gardens are at the Eco Lake area. I have noticed that the bird life here has increase in density and variety recently.
