This gallery features photos of birds that I have seen at Panti Forest in Johor, the Malaysian state that is closest to Singapore. Due to the close proximity to Singapore, Panti Forest is very popular with Singapore Birders. The bird life here is extremely rich. Every trip here since year 2001 has been a new discovery for me.

Unfortunately, Panti Forest is consistently being logged and I am not sure how long it will last. This gallery hopes to generate awareness and appreciation of the richness of fauna in Panti Forest which will lead to conservation.

Latest update: Panti Forest through Track 270 and Bunker Trail is now out of bounds for the public. The Johor Forestry Department has put up signs notifying the public that it is an offence to enter.
