Your photos are wonderful!
I had the privilege of birding in Khao Yai one day in March 2005. I added quite a few birds to my life list, with the help of an expert birder from Mission College in Muak Lek, Thailand.
I hope to return to Khao Yai someday. It is a wonderful place.

Hello Paul
I'm visiting peninsular Malaysia in July and was wondering if Panti Forest was still closed for logging.
Brilliant photos by the way. Good practice for me with all the new species I'll be seeing.
Cheers

Hi Paul,
Great stuff you have here. Really amazing shots you've taken! As an amateur myself, I have tried to photograph some of our wonderful creatures too (though not as successful as you have been! Please pardon the poor quality of some of these photos!) You can see some of them at my Tripod-hosted website. Just go to Ria's www.wildsingapore.com and look for my book, Songs of the Cicadas. The link is there.
Thanks for sharing your photos and your passion. Keep up the great work and don't stop snapping!
Best regards,
Peter

I used to live in Singapore - thanks for taking the time to document all these wonderful birds. I pray for the forests of that area that some will survive so that the birds might, also.

Hi Paul,
Your photos are fantastic. I have just become a avid bird watcher since a pied hornbill has been visiting my house, feeding palm fruits just 2 meters from my kitchen window. Outside my bedroom is a big rain tree. It plays hosts to many birds. I just saw a pair of red crested, oranged back woodpeckers. But my digital camera is not your special camera. ( I didn't find any among your photos that suit this description)
My hornbill photos have created quite an interest with the Nature Society and NTU community.
Ann
Hi Ann, thanks for the kind words. Glad that you have taken up birding as well. I think the woodpecker that you have seen is the male Common Flameback. I have the pictures in the Botanic Gardens gallery. ann chin, Singapore 2004-10-07
Hi Paul, this really cool site.
Cheers!

To Mr Paul Huang
Hi I am Wong Seu Lin, Director of Intra Travel Service (sister company of Tabin Wildlife Resort). CK Leong has given me your website address and I found the pictures you took of birds in Tabin really wonderful. We had just been out from Tabin doing a "bird-watching workshop" with CK and learned a great deal from CK. We are eager to go on a next trip to see more birds.
Intra Travel is the sole agent for tours to Tabin and responsible to promote and market the destination. Bird-watching is one of the activities I planned to promote in Tabin. Could you advice if it would be possible for us to make use of your impressive images of birds from Tabin in our website and promotional materials? Of course we will mention the photographer's name. If you need to charge, what would be the rate? I look forward to receiving your reply. Once again, congratulations for youe impressive website.
Wong Seu Lin
Hi Ms. Wong, many thanks for the compliments. Congratulations on a wonderful resort. I hope it will contribute to more awareness of the natural treasures in Sabah. I will send you an email on the usage of the images. Wong Seu Lin, Malaysia | homepage 2004-08-04
Thank you for this beautiful gallery. This is my favourite bird photography site on the net. Your Whitehead's trogon and short tailed magpie pictures are fantastic and remind me of the joy of seeing these birds in Gunung Kinabalu.
