A real value for money digital SLR. What is great is that the Canon EOS mount allows for adaptors that support my Leica lenses.

The digital images from the D30 is also very clean, pure and grainless. ISO 400 is perfectly usaeble which is great for bird photography where extra speed is helpful.

The D60 has been released and I will be seriously considering an upgrade. Its is twice the resolution and slightly cheaper than the D30. The only problem is that the queue for the D60 is so long that the shops are not even taking anymore orders!
